There has been a lot of talk for weeks about who will finally kill Tom King (James Chase) in Emmerdale. Have we found our guy?
As the case may be, it looks very much like Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler), of all people, could be the one who brings Tom down.
We know that Tom is going to leave Emmerdale when the story reaches its peak around Christmas, which makes us think that this story is about to take a dramatic turn. A wary Nicola might be the one to make it happen.
This started because Tom recently lost his cool when Carl, who was young, took his tablet, which was full of proof that Tom had abused Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
To get the device back, he did a lot of things, including scaring the young boy into giving up. Carl told Tom that he had given it to Isaac, so Tom broke into Butlers to get it back.
It was almost impossible for him not to, but not before he threatened to hit Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) with a candlestick if he didn’t stop. Then Tom went home and smashed the tablet badly with a rock. Carl was watching in secret and was scared.
Since Tom thought he was out of trouble for everything, he broke his bail rules by telling Belle she was leaving for a long time.
But Carl now knows that Tom can be violent, and who knows how much he saw on that screen.
He feels more and more nervous around his cousin, and Nicola can tell something is wrong. She starts to wonder why Carl is acting the way he is because he seems scared of Tom.
Nicola already had suspicions when she found out that Tom was filming Belle, and this makes them even stronger.
Nicola will keep a close eye on Tom now that she knows Carl is worried. Tom starts to feel good about himself and thinks he’s gotten away with everything. This is a great time for him to make a mistake because arrogance often leads to failure.
Nicola will be ready to protect her son when he finally lets down his guard, which will happen soon. Will she save Belle in a way that seems impossible and make sure she gets what’s coming to her?
